Radha Krishna Dolls

Radha and Krishna, an eternal love story.

I have a beautiful Radha Krishna Photo at my home, every time I see it, I fall in love with it. The illimitable beauty of Radha - wearing precious jewels and a red bindi on her forehead. The mang tikka on her head can mesmerize anyone.  Her ears are ornamented with gold jhumkas, her innocent eyes and a heart-enticing smile, her golden bangles and precious jewels are glorifying her neck, and she is wearing pink Ghaghara and green blouse, decorated with pearls and golden threads.
And what to speak about Krishna – the bluishness of his body is like Atasi flower, his black curly hairs, peacock feather diadem and Chandan Tilak on his forehead. His yellow silken clothing and beautiful kaustubh jewel that adorns His chest.

I tried capturing the beauty of Radha – Krishna in my dolls, let’s see if you like it.

Here is a beautiful picture of Atasi flower with which the color of Krishna is compared in Bhagwat geeta.

Home - Pressed flower art

Long time, I didn’t create any pressed flower art. In my last journey I saw various new and colorful flowers, and got inspired to create something new, so pressed some of them. I am eager to put my thought on paper, just waiting for the flowers to dry. By that time, this is the one from my old work pieces.

Detailed information on creating any pressed flower are craft can be found at page 'How to create Pressed flower art.'

Egg Carton Wind Chime

I always loved those pottery wind chimes but never got a chance to buy one, so this time thought to create it with the cups of egg carton. It’s disappointing, that my wind chime doesn't give that melodious sound but it looks good when I hang it in the garden.
This wind chime is created with recycled egg carton, newspapers glue and some color. And so it is completely Eco friendly.
Here you can find the tutorial to create your own. “Egg carton wind chime tutorial”.
Here is a quick view of the procedure -
